I’m in Tampa now, it’s 79 degrees and smells like a rainforest.
The drive wasn’t bad. It was long but I had fun. No accidents, didn’t get pulled over, flirted with some drivers, didn’t die. The only thing that kinda sucked was that after 6 hours of driving my shoulders started to ache, then my neck, then my back... The only meds I had were vicodon, percacets, and tylonal with codeine. NOT stuff I can take and drive with. I’m badass though, and just dealt with it.
I stopped in Lumberton, NC. Only about an hour before SC, and “South of the Boarder”. I was planning on stopping a few hours before I did, but all the hotels were $50 a night. I wasn’t about to spend that kind of money just for a room. I found one in Lumberton for $30. It was a clean room, but the shower was gross. There were about three locks on the door, so I locked them all AND left the bathroom light on. I watched X-Files, ate some tropical starbursts, and passed out.
My cell phone alarm didn’t go off the next morning, so I overslept the continental breakfast and the time that I wanted to leave. I planned on getting up at 8, and leaving at 9. But I ended up leaving at 10 and eating blueberries on the road. I got to my aunt’s house around 6pm and still couldn’t find my student ID. Suuuckky, I’ll have to get a new one now. I LIKED that picture...
Tomorrow I have to get up at 7:30, eat, shower, all those morning things. Leave here at 8am, settle my finances with UT, move in, get my parking sticker, call my boss, finish my application for Home Depot garden center, get some of my books and RELAX before the real fun starts.
2 Parties Saturday, show on Sunday, class on Monday. Yay. Maybe Orlando next weekend?
I’m sorry this isn’t all that interesting, I’m really really really tired and my creativity is a little drained... Usually I’m a little more entertaining, I know.
Thanks for wondering about me. :) I miss you already
